To toggle admin mode off, all you need to do is type /admin again. so regular item spawning is all good and fun, you can collect all the hats in the world for free if you desired to plug itemNames into starbound for an hour straight, but on top of /spawnitem being a thing, starbound accepts additional commands tacked onto the end of the /spawnitem command which will alter the item further. This will toggle admin mode on (granting you access to admin commands). Frackin Universe (FU) is a mod for the game Starbound expanding upon the game in hundreds of ways. Admin commands require a user to have admin mode enabled before they have access. This is because timewarp is an admin command, and on a random server you would not be an admin. If you were to join a random server and attempt to run the command /timewarp 60 (the timewarp command moves time forward) nothing would happen.
